Captain’s Log – Summer on the Water | Kaanapali Beach, Maui

Summer has brought us another stretch of beautiful days on the water. Calm mornings, refreshing trade winds, and crystal-clear ocean conditions have made for unforgettable adventures with the UFO Parasail crew.

Parasailing Above Paradise

Our Kaanapali parasailing flights have been treating guests to incredible views of West Maui. From hundreds of feet in the air, you can take in the turquoise waters below, the lush West Maui Mountains behind the shoreline, and neighboring islands on the horizon.

It’s not uncommon to spot Hawaiian green sea turtles gliding through the reefs or schools of tropical fish in the clear water below. Every flight offers a new perspective, making parasailing in Maui one of the most memorable ways to experience the island.

One of our favorite things about operating on Kaanapali Beach is that it’s easy to turn your adventure into a full day of exploring.

After your adventures, take a short walk north to Hula Grill, Monkeypod or Leilani’s on the Beach for fresh island seafood, tropical drinks, and oceanfront dining with your toes almost in the sand.

If you’re ready to cool off afterward, grab your snorkel gear and head to Black Rock. Just a few minutes away, this popular snorkeling spot is known for its clear water, lava rock formations, colorful tropical fish, and frequent Hawaiian green sea turtle sightings. Be sure to check the ocean conditions before entering the water, as surf and currents can vary throughout the day.
